Protocol

"Protocol" is the name of the web based software programme which enables electronic case management and recording. It is produced by a company called Liquidlogic, and is compliant with the DFCSF ICS phase 1 requirements. It is updated on a regular basis. A new version of Protocol is currently under test in Knowsley, to be implemented by the end of July 2008. This will enable us to comply with the DCSF's ICS phase 1B requirements, which extend the ICS processes into private fostering, allegations management and new requirements in relation to children looked after.
